12. Artificial Intelligence
Rosella Services, Inc. incorporates artificial intelligence (AI) tools into our internal operations to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our commercial insurance brokerage Services.
These tools help our team with backend support activities, such as:
- Processing and pulling key details from client-submitted documents, including applications, loss histories, policies, and endorsements.
- Generating draft notes, internal emails, or summaries for staff review prior to any client communication.
- Managing workflows, task prioritization, reminders, and team follow-ups.
- Offering quick internal insights or overviews to assist during quoting, account servicing, or renewal discussions.
Every output from our AI tools undergoes human review. No final insurance decisions — such as quoting terms, evaluating risks, determining eligibility, placing coverage, issuing endorsements, or binding policies — are made automatically by AI. All such determinations are performed, reviewed, and approved by our licensed insurance professionals and/or partnering carriers, fully in line with state insurance laws and regulations.
Our AI models are developed and refined using only data from Rosella's own operations, such as anonymized internal records, staff-generated examples, and operational communications. We never feed client Personal Information or Business Information into third-party foundational models for training.
We work exclusively with reputable, enterprise-level AI providers who are contractually bound not to use our inputs for their own model training or improvement. To maintain reliability and fairness, we apply ongoing monitoring, error detection, bias checks, and human override capabilities for any potentially sensitive or high-stakes applications.
We do not deploy AI for automated final outcomes in sensitive categories like health or life insurance (where applicable), government-related eligibility, or any scenario that could substantially affect individuals without meaningful human involvement.
